We provide an end-to-end software platform for the live ticketing industry, managing thousands of sports, theater and live music event tickets on behalf of artists, promoters, teams, venues and professional resellers. Victory Live’s comprehensive offerings include an established B2B marketplace along with both a full-service and an automated SaaS platform to handle all elements of the ticket sales lifecycle, from ingestion to sales fulfillment. THE POSITION
Victory Live is seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Marketing to lead the brand strategy and sales marketing initiatives at Victory Live. Reporting to the Chief Distribution Officer, this role combines leadership with execution—driving awareness, communicating value, capturing demand, and measuring results. You will manage a team of marketing professionals across creative and project management functions, serving as both a strategist and contributor. With multiple revenue streams across stakeholders, resellers, and distribution partners, our marketing team plays a central role in aligning all business units—product, sales, partnerships, analytics, tech, operations, and more. This role blends brand, product, and e-commerce marketing, with a strong emphasis on marketing technology. Responsibilities
- Leadership – Be the senior-most marketing executive at the organization, responsible for balancing a budget, managing up to leadership, cross to peers, and down to reports. Tell the vision and bring all business units together as one.
- Strategy + Execution – Design, implement, and optimize multi-channel marketing strategies and campaigns to drive customer acquisition and engagement, including our product and service users (B2B) and our retail ticket marketplace (B2C)
- Sales Enablement – Manage and optimize our HubSpot Marketing Hub, working closely with our CRM Administrator to optimize lead tracking, campaign performance, and insights
- Messaging + Content – Own the look, feel, and voice of the company by working close with business developers to deeply understand competitive dynamics, market forces, product differentiation, and nuanced insight into the psychology and journey of our customers, leading to a carefully crafted compelling message
- Marketing Collateral + Assets – Own the process, delivery, maintenance, and effectiveness of website, decks, case studies, one-sheeters, and other assets created to communicate brand message and customer value
- Events + Tradeshows – Manage conference, event, and partner hospitality schedule and initiatives to best fit marketing goals and the needs of revenue teams
- Digital Demand Generation – Design, execute, and track digital campaigns related to digital marketing (SEO and PPC), social media, digital media, and other channels
- Product Collaboration – Facilitate collaboration between product management and revenue generators to develop go-to-market plans, including market-based insights to inform and strengthen product-market fit.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in marketing, 3 of which with management experience
- Proficient with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite
- Creativity, an eye for design excellence, and flexibility to listen and adapt
- Ability to see the whole picture and distill fragment information into clear output
- Strong experience with HubSpot Marketing Hub
- Experience with Google Analytics, SEO, and PPC strategies
- Experience in the live event ticketing or travel and experience industries
- Experience with e-commerce, marketplaces, and/or B2B distribution technology
- Understanding of promotional principles and product/service marketing techniques
- Knowledge of live ticket sales and/or experience working within a fast-paced industry is a plus
